PHILIPPA LEVENBERG
Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Philippa Levenberg's career has spanned PR agencies, non-profits and media organizations. For over 15 years, she has leveraged digital, social and paid media strategies to build employer brands, thought leadership programs, engage advocates, navigate crises, and shape policy outcomes.
Philippa co-founded Sable Strategy with the philosophy that digital should always be an integrated offering and that the most successful communications campaigns are truly multichannel. With that approach, she has built Sable into a leading, full-service strategic communications firm, named to Inc. Magazine's "Best in Business" list for both Public Relations and Communications. Prior to Sable, she grew digital media practices and products at several agencies, including a global public affairs firm within the Publicis Groupe.
Philippa has been recognized as a Social Media “Mover and Shaker” by PRNEWS and Social Media Today, and nominated for both the “Excellence in Advocacy Awards” by Professional Women in Advocacy and the “Emerging Leader Award” by Washington Women in Public Relations. She was also recently named to Women We Admire's list of Top 50 Women Leaders in Virginia 2022. Philippa has served on the Digital Marketing Advisory Council at the George Washington University School of Business and presents regularly at events for Public Affairs Council, Women In Government Relations, and the Public Relations Society of America, among others.
Philippa began her career in journalism as a TV producer for the US Broadcasting Service, Voice of America. She has an MA in Communication from American University in Washington, DC and a BA in Journalism and Political Communication from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.

Today, she lives in the woods of Great Falls, VA with her husband Adam, daughter Simone, son Easton and two dogs, Ella and Einstein.
She has also been fortunate to see Sable in the wild.
